Description

DFV Weber air bonnet/plenum – suit DFV style carbs

Plenum to suit Weber and reproduction brand carbs to use for COLD AIR INTAKE or SNORKEL applications.

NOTE: These plenums are not suitable for turbo applications – they will not seal under pressure and will leak boost.   They use a simple cardboard gasket and are only good for vacuum conditions with things like cold air intakes, or remote filters.  For a turbo specific plenum for blow through applications, see our other listings.

These are a simple plenum with a steel base plate and aluminium top casting, using a cardboard gasket in between. Will work well for things like remote filters, cold air intakes, and snorkel setups,

Not suitable for blow through turbo or supercharged applications – they do not seal properly under boost.

Fitting kit consists of 5mm nylock nuts to suit most Weber DFV carbs, as well as 6mm screws stainless nylock nuts to suit reproductions carbs such as the FAJS DGV carbs.

Top can be swiveled 360 degrees, allowing for either front or side entry, or anywhere in between, which makes is easy to mate up to your air intake plumbing.
